MCM-TV Staff

Jerry Eichten

Executive Director

Being part of MCM’s success and growth has been a very gratifying and challenging experience.  I’m proud of the work done by all our volunteers and staff, as well as the many success stories our program providers share daily with viewers in our community and beyond.

All of us are grateful for the individuals who had a vision for community media and came together to start McMinnville Community Media in 2000.  Our board hired its first employee in 2001 and I am very pleased to hold the Director position since then.

My interest in local cable television began in high school in Minnesota doing play-by-play telecasts of school sports.   Other professional experience includes positions in commercial television news, radio broadcasting, non-profit operations, and community radio management.

Ian Palo

Programming Co-ordinator

I have been working at MCM-TV for the past fifteen years. I am the Programming Coordinator and I am in charge of making sure all shows are scheduled and aired on the station. I graduated from Otterbein University just north of Columbus Ohio in 2001. I have a BA in Broadcasting/Communications. My passion has always been TV and film. Along with scheduling, I enjoy directing occasionally and going out to shoot sporting events.

Phil Guzzo

Outreach and Digital Video Specialist

I started at MCM-TV in 2013, as the Digital Video Specialist and Outreach coordinator. I train and support the volunteer producers as well as support the wide variety of systems in house from the computers and edit stations, to the Cablecast on air system. I come to MCM from a varied background in film and video as well as education and have worked at a number of high profile and low profile places and several media oreinted institutes of higher learning in the Portland area.

Elise Dukart

Operations Assistant

I have been working with MCM-TV since 2015, and my position covers a variety of tasks within the MCM sphere.  I manage the community bulletin board, design promotional materials for MCM, update social media and other outreach, and provide camera assistance during shoots.  In addition, I have a tendency to sing into the headset during MCM staff shoots, much to the dismay of my coworkers.  My degree is in English Literature from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, where I was the first student to graduate with a Film Studies minor.

It has been wonderful getting to know McMinnville through MCM-TV.  This community's interests and passions are evident through the programs they create, and I love being a part of it.
