PRODUCER PREVIEW: Find out what you can do at MCM!

Introduces new producers to MCM and community television. Tour the facility and learn about public access television and MCM’s mission. Discover how to get involved with MCM through program production and volunteering.

One session: 30 Minutes

Prerequisite for all classes. CALL TO REGISTER.

FIELD CAMERA: Master pro-grade video cameras to record your program anywhere.

Participants will learn advanced camera operation as well as practical shooting techniques and project planning.

Two sessions: 2 hours per session.

EDITING: Final Cut Express - Two sessions of edit technique and craft

Learn to use Final Cut Express editing software. Final Cut is a professional editing application that is easy and fun to use.

This class requires a basic knowledge of computer use.

Two sessions: 2 hours per session.

STUDIO: The challenge and exhilaration of multiple camera production.

Learn how to make television programs in MCM's 3 camera studio. Discover new skills on a studio production team. Learn to direct talent and technicians. Create eye popping graphics. Refine your camera skills. Release the technical director inside you! It's fun, it's fast and it's live to tape!
